Braxton Woodham is the Chief Technology Officer of Project Liberty and co-creator of the Decentralized Social Networking Protocol (DSNP). His work centers on building open, scalable technology infrastructure that empowers individuals with greater agency in their digital lives.

For more than two decades, Braxton has been at the forefront of developing, scaling, and commercializing innovative software platforms across multiple industries. Before joining Project Liberty, he co-founded and served as Executive Chairman of kuma.capital, a software company focused on systematic digital asset trading.

Previously, he was Chief Technology and Product Officer at Fandango, where he oversaw product development and technology operations across a portfolio that included Fandango Ticketing, Rotten Tomatoes, FandangoNOW, MovieTickets.com, Flixster, MovieClips, Ingresso in Brazil, and Fandango.lat. He also led the company’s technical strategy, diligence, and integration efforts for eight acquisitions.

Braxton was also the co-founder, President, and CTO of Sun Basket, a personalized meal platform later merged into Intelligent Brands. Earlier, he co-founded Tap11, a real-time media analytics platform acquired by AVOS Systems in 2011.

He began his technology career as CTO of InfoSpace’s mobile division, where he managed infrastructure supporting roughly three-quarters of all mobile web traffic in North America. He joined InfoSpace through its acquisition of Moviso, where he developed the V4 Digital Media Platform—scaling it more than 100x and generating over $1.5 billion in revenue across major global carriers. Before that, at Sony Music Digital Media Ventures, he led initiatives including Keyhole, which was acquired by Google and relaunched as Google Earth.

Prior to his career in technology, Braxton served as Lead Propulsion Engineer for two Atlas missions and was a Captain in the United States Air Force. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with honors from Vanderbilt University.
